Amish Apple Cake

2 sticks butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups apples - peeled & grated
2 tsp baking soda
Method
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and mix well. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Add the prepared apples. Pour into greased 9″ x 13″ pan. Mix ½ cup sugar & 1 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 deg F for one hour. Cool. Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
